BOCC CMS Lite is a simple web content management system (CMS). It lets you create content, publish pages and manage your own website.

BOCC CMS Lite has a secure web-based administration area which allows administrators to create and manage the whole website in real-time.

Content is created using a powerful HTML editor which means you do not need any special technical skills. Meta data can be created and edited. The tasks available are:

• page content creation and publishing
• administrator management
• image library
• file download library
• external link library

It is possible to have multiple administrators, but there is no workflow in the Lite version of the CMS. When pages are published, they are immediately available on the website.

The pages produced by the BOCC CMS Lite comply with the latest HTML standards (XHTML), are fully accessible (up to W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) conformance level A) and can be viewed by users with virtually any browser or operating system.

Users are provided with effective navigation - consistent, comprehensive and usable navigation aids.

All pages provide sufficient metadata to allow effective indexing and searching. This conforms to the Dublin Core standard and other classifications can be added as options.
