Background

The Plunkett Foundation is an educational charity, based near Oxford, which supports the development of rural group enterprise world-wide.

Our brief

The brief for this project was to create a website that explained who the Plunkett Foundation are and promote their new brand clearly creating a strong identity and understanding of the organisation.

Our approach

The main brief was achieved by highlighting an immediate explanation of the organisation in the foreground as part of the design, and using a rotating image module to show images of various projects and people involved in their projects.

News from the Plunkett Foundation involving various projects is depicted together with images, and RSS news feeds from industry related news.

There is a strong use of people to encourage an idea of involvement and interest and that is followed through with methods of becoming involved via email bulletins. One of the main areas of the Plunkett Foundation website is a knowledge base and the direction to online resources is kept high on the page to facilitate the use of this, along with promotion of other current projects.

Throughout the main areas of the site the right hand column accommodates cross links to other associated sites and projects.
