BOCC's Project Management Approach

We know that no two clients are the same, but however big or small we always adopt the same approach to any project. This method has continued to work for us and we have a strong long standing client base to prove it.

We believe that straightforward honest communications help to ensure project success. We adopt the following project management method in all of the work we undertake.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT METHODOLOGY

  • We always take time at the beginning of a project to meet with you and get to know you and your organisation. We may need to confirm your requirements, perhaps develop a design brief, or simply work out a solution to meet with your data integration needs. We want to make sure that you're happy with what we're proposing; as well agreeing how and when we're going to do it!
  • We'll agree on a project plan that we will all need to work to. This will be backed up by regular project meetings during implementation.
  • Our clients have several points of contact during project implementation, with one overall project manager as the consistent project liaison point.
  • Once we've agreed on the milestones, we will either begin work on any visual design concepts or commence work on the web development.
  • Once the development work is ready, we'll arrange a handover session so that you can review the site / application. After that you will go through a period of acceptance testing and feedback.
  • Once you're happy with the site or application, we'll then agree on a launch date.
  • We want this to be an ongoing long term relationship, so after the launch, we'll set-up regular review meetings with you. Really just to catch-up on what we've all been up to!
Going forward you'll always have someone to talk at BOCC. Whether you need ongoing support, want to discuss a new requirement for your site, or simply catch-up on the latest news.
