Oil & Gas UK is the leading representative body for the UK offshore oil and gas industry. It is a not-for-profit organisation, established in April 2007 on the foundations of the UK Offshore Operators Association (UKOOA). Their aim is to strengthen the long-term health of the offshore oil and gas industry in the UK by working closely with companies across the entire sector, governments and all other stakeholders to address the issues that affect business.

To develop a modular online payments facility that will be extensible for the future so as to enable the payment of additional services and goods, including publications and events.
BOCC developed the website for the organisation to include the publications module and events booking system, both of which integrate with the online payments system.
BOCC developed the modular online payments engine that integrates securely with Barclaycard, who provide realtime payment card authorisation. The system provides both receipt and invoice generation, as printable web pages, downloadable PDFs and optional emails.
The system was recently upgraded and integrated with the new 3-D Secure requirement. 3-D Secure is the new technical standard developed by Visa and MasterCard to help improve online transaction security.
BOCC also provided consultancy to Oil and Gas UK to review the current online payments procedures to ensure that they meet with the PCI (Payment Card Industry) Standard. This included the provision of a report outlining areas for improvement and immediate action.
