Courseware Application

Foundation Network Ltd are developing a system to provide online training to network engineers. They approached BOCC to create an interactive browser-based application to simulate a Telnet session for managing hubs and switches. The application manages sessions so that engineers could enable multiple instances of equipment and link them through the web application.
Access to the e-training system is restricted to course members.

Content Syndication

BOCC developed the Trading Standards Institute's flagship product - a secure news, document and mail system extranet for trading standards officers - last year. The system has now been extended to allow users to selectively make content syndication packets that include shared documents as well as locally uploaded content.
Amongst many other services, the TSinterlink is the prime source of safety warning and product recall news in the United Kingdom.

Cherwell District Council Intranet

BOCC designed and created this council intranet. The site is completely content managed through a BOCC web-based administration system including:
- document workflow
- role, area, and task rights
- inline text formatting
- content validation and reporting
- administrator management
Elements of the site interface directly with the public website and legacy systems.

Royal Society e-GAP
|

|
BOCC developed a grant application and processing (e-GAP) system for the Royal Society. This system covers all aspects of application, approval, assessment, award offer, holder maintenance, management and reporting. BOCC undertook the specification, database design and implementation, data replication system, assisted with set-up of internal servers, testing, training and subsequent support.
The third scheme, Conference Grants, has been made live together with the second round for the Industry Fellowship scheme.
