Online Payment

BOCC has provided consultancy advice in fraud prevention measures to clients collecting credit and debit card payments online. There are many options available for 'cardholder not present' transactions but these need to be considered for the particular operating requirements for each client.
BOCC's consultants provide systems, security, software, networking and hardware advice and are also available as expert witnesses.
Robust and secure online authorisation systems have been deployed by BOCC for a range of online products and services.

Systems Migration

The London Borough of Camden asked BOCC to assist with the transfer and update of its dynamic website areas onto a new platform and to integrate a new design. The migration coincided with Camden's redevelopment of their main website on the APLAWS open source content management system.
As well as converting existing modules and services which form part of Camden's e-Government targets, BOCC also provided:
- advice on style sheet usage
- managed liaison with third party companies providing specialist applications
- standards compliance testing
- systems configuration management
- project management

The Royal Society e-GAP
|

|
BOCC developed a grant application and processing (e-GAP) system for the Royal Society. This system covers all aspects of application, approval, assessment, award offer, holder maintenance, management and reporting. BOCC undertook the specification, database design and implementation, data replication system, assisted with set-up of internal servers, testing, training and subsequent support.
The latest scheme, Wolfson Laboratory Refurbishment, has been made live together with a final report form for Conference Grant holders.

e-Newsletters and Broadcast
|

BOCC has replaced the UK Offshore Operators Association's email broadcast facility with a state-of-the-art system created especially to meet their requirements. BOCC also designed a series of special email templates for use with the system:
- text and HTML format support
- complex rule-based recipient selection
- online preview and review
- managed broadcast
