BOCC is very excited to be working with the Plunkett Foundation as part of a Big Lottery Fund funded project called 'Making Local Food Work' - community enterprise connecting land and people through food.

'Making Local Food Work' is a 5 year programme aimed at reconnecting people and land through issues of food: access to fresh, healthy, local food and food that has a clear provenance. The portfolio will use social and community enterprise approaches to link communities and producers and develop collaborative approaches to meeting the needs of their communities in accessing local food.

The programme will be managed by the Plunkett Foundation as the leader of a partnership comprising Co-operatives UK, the Soil Association, Sustain (and Foodlinks UK), CPRE, FARMA and Country Markets.

BOCC has been appointed to carry out the web development and visual design of the new Portal website for the Programme. This will include the provision of the YouDu CMS 2007, the development of secure Producer and Partner Extranet sites, provision of a data management system and knowledge base, as well as dedicated web server hosting.
